The State Attorney's Office has filed a detailed indictment against producer Udi Ayalon, charging him with extortion by threats, harassment, and privacy violations against journalist Adva Dadon. According to the indictment, as reported by Walla, the events began after Dadon sought to end a business and personal relationship with Ayalon, which included collaboration on lectures starting in May 2023.
Following the end of the relationship in June 2025, a series of alleged threats by Ayalon began, aimed at forcing Dadon to renew the relationship. Ayalon is accused of threatening to harm her reputation, livelihood, and career by contacting people in her professional circle, including the CEO of the news company. Furthermore, the indictment describes how Ayalon attempted to pressure the journalist through her 6-year-old daughter, using personal messages expressing an obsession with reconnecting.
The harassment did not cease even after Dadon petitioned the court and received an anti-harassment order in December 2025. According to the prosecution, Ayalon repeatedly violated the order, posted defamatory content on social media, shared recordings and videos with media figures to harm her, and even arrived at her workplace in violation of the court's instructions.
During a confrontation at the police station in February 2026, the indictment claims that Ayalon continued to threaten her, telling Dadon that she should fear him and that he is dangerous. Ayalon's actions allegedly continued thereafter, utilizing fictitious social media profiles to disseminate allegations against Dadon. The indictment is based on dozens of WhatsApp messages, recordings, and testimonies regarding Ayalon physically appearing at locations where Dadon was present.
