About
Zion Bahalul, Advocate and Notary Zion Bahalul was born in 1965 into a deeply rooted Israeli family from Tiberias and Jerusalem. He holds an LL.M. degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University and represents the ninth generation of his family in the Land of Israel, with a profound connection to industry, public life, and the legal profession. Adv. Zion Bahalul drew inspiration from members of his family, who throughout his life served as personal role models and made meaningful contributions to the development of the country. Zion is the grandson of Yohanan Ibn Ezra, a Jerusalem contractor, businessman, and public figure, known for initiating and laying the first water pipeline to Jerusalem during the British Mandate period. He is also the grandson of the late Zion Bahalul, a public figure and one of the early industrialists in Israel. His father, the late Shmuel Bahalul, was an industrialist and the owner of a regional flour mill in northern Israel. Zion’s connection to the legal world began in childhood. His mother, Ruth Bahalul, served as Chief Secretary of the Tiberias Court and, during the early years of the State of Israel, was authorized by the then Minister of Justice, the late Pinchas Rosen, to serve as a public notary in the Northern District. His uncle, the late Judge Yosef Bahalul, served as President of the Nazareth District Court.
